The carnival, centuries-old ritual and crazy feast, comes back every year to animate villages and towns of Trentino.
Among confetti, paper streamers and cheerful masks, every municipality of the valley organizes the typical distribution of maccheroni pasta in the squares or gnocchi al ragù or bigoi con le sardele.
Not to be missed the “Children’s Carnival” of Rovereto, that “delivers” the town to the children for a week, and the Carnival of Mori, “the longest of Trentino”.
Another event you can’t miss is the carnival floats parade of Volano, and the masked ball of the Mardi Gras, organized by the association Pronti, Attenti e Fantasia. This year amateur photographers and curious people can have fun and capture the most significant moments of the Children’s Carnival of Volano and take part in the contest Obiettivo carnevale.
