Val di Gresta
The valley of orchards
Spectacular terracing that climbs from Loppio up to
Passo Bordala, a mild climate thanks to Lake Garda and the white-blue light of the rocks make the Valle di Gresta a site specifically chosen for growing
organic vegetables.
If you like organic cooking do not miss autumn’s appointment with the mostra-mercato (exhibition-market): you can enjoy tons of potatoes, cabbages and carrots on the spot or save them for later. Take a break in touch with unspoilt nature, outings on foot or horseback, throw yourself into paragliding or try a sport in the gyms and equipped areas.
Trails suitable for mountain biking are divided by difficulty and marked by signs. The ascent to Monte Stivo, which overlooks the Vallagarina and Upper Garda will arouse unique emotions in you. The Nagia Grom trenches remind us that the front line of the Great War passed here.
The stunning
lake Cei basin is the
departure point for romantic excursions among forests of pine, beech and meadows. Your little ones will also be able to rediscover their relationship with nature and animals, by taking part in educational farms and donkey trekking: real therapy for the soul!
