Antique Piano Museum

All the charm of classical music

Ala: the city of silk and velvet.
Here the museo del pianoforte antico is born, which has all the charm of classical music. Original instruments that belonged to Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven and Chopin make up part of the collection of Temenuschka Vesselinova. The pianist presents her examples of antique pianos in the ground floor room of palazzo de Pizzini, an elegant holiday home for nobles, princes and kings, from Maria Theresa of Austria to Napoleon Bonaparte and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

From May to September on the first Sunday of every month the museum is included in the guided tour of Ala’s old town. A unique occasion to revive old sounds in the magical atmosphere of a different time.
