Directions

  • From Brentonico paved road until Bocca del Crèer (albergo Graziani); then by mule track and pathway (signpost n. 633, 1 hour 30 minutes). Road closed at Passo San Valentino in winter.
  • From San Giacomo with path n. 622 for Malga Campi, Bocca Paltrane and finally the shelter (three hours)
  • From Piani di Festa (2 km from Brentonico) with path n. 250 and then n. 624 to Malga Campei di Sopra, baita Grasso and Malga Campiglio; then follow path n. 601 (three hours thirty minutes)
  • From Nago with paved road until approximately 1550 m North of Monte Varagna then path n. 601 (four hours)

  • From Anghebeni di Vallarsa along path n. 102 to the Val di Foxi, through the Bocchetta di Foxi and the Bocchetta delle Corde (four hours – for experienced hikers)
  • From Valmorbia di Vallarsa with path n. 122 dedicated to Franco Galli, via Malga Tappola, Selletta Battisti, towards the Bocchetta di Foxi and the Bocchetta delle Corde with path n. 102 (four hours thirty minutes – only for experienced hikers)

  • from Pian delle Fugazze (no thoroughfare) along path n. 339: Val di Fieno, Strada degli Eroi, Galleria d’Havet (2 hours thirty minutes)
  • From Pian delle Fugazze toward Val Canale, path n. 300 (two hours thirty minutes)
  • From the Pasubio main road take local road to Passo Xomo and then for Bocchetta Campiglia (no thoroughfare from Bocchetta Campiglia). From here start the Strada delle 52 Gallerie (Mountain bikes forbidden) sign posted n. 366 (two hours thirty minutes). Recommended return via the Strada degli Scrubi signposted n. 370
  • From Rifugio Lancia along path n. 105 and the Sentiero della Pace (three hours)
  • From Rifugio Lancia along path n. 120 (two hours thirty minutes)

  • From Pian delle Fugazze by car with permission from the Forestale (branch of the police with responsibility for national forests) or from 5:00 to 8:00 am with a pass (€ 1.00 in the car park of the Hotel Al Passo). There is no parking en route, park at Campogrosso displaying the pass. Road closed in winter.
  • From Pian delle Fugazze along the Strada dei Re, via the Ossario del Pasubio (one hour thirty minutes)
  • From Pian delle Fugazze along paths n. 45 and n. 13, Strade delle Sette Fontane (one hour thirty minutes)
  • From Recoaro by car, weather permitting (14 km – thirty minutes)

  • from Pian delle Fugazze, via Campogrosso, along the Sentiero della Pace coinciding with route E5 (three hours)
  • from the Veronese slopes, departing from Rifugio Revolto in Alta Val d’Illasi, take Strada da Giazze (two hours thirty minutes)

The mountain hut is open only at weekends in May and October.
From June to the end of September it is open every day.
It closes in November and opens again for Christmas.

  • from Passo Santa Barbara by car, 2 km of road until Castil (car park), from here proceed on foot along path n. 608/bis until Prese, from here path n. 608 rises to Malga Stivo and climb the alpine meadows to the Shelter, under the summit of Monte Stivo (one hour forty five minutes)
  • from Passo Bordala along small roads and path n. 623 via Cima Bassa and path n. 617 Bocchetta dello Stivo 
  • from Malga Campo Arco (Val di Cavedine road) take path n. 623 until Cima Bassa, then path n. 617 (two hours thirty minutes)
  • cross Piana delle Viotte with the ridge path n. 617 (seven hours)

From Ronchi along path n. 108. After Maso Micheli follow n. 109, passing small rural villages (Case Schincheri, Malga Brusà). Almost at the bottom of the Valle dei Ronchi the path begins to climb to Passo Pertica, a pass that connects the Valle dei Ronchi with the Valle d’Illasi in the Verona area (three hours)
