Where? Museo Storico Italiano della Guerra di Rovereto
The Pasubio massif was in First World War a theatre of conflict where both Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies sacrified thousands of soldiers. In a battle with no holds barred, fighting against very difficult weather conditions, the Italian advance of 1915, the Austro-Hungarian offensive of 1916 and the mine war represented the highlights of a clash with sometimes inconclusive results that this exhibition displayed in the castle of Rovereto reconstructs and documents.
From then on the trenches and the military roads on this mountain are visited costantly by excursionists who would like to know better the scenery of this war.
