In Rovereto the most ancient toasting shop in Italy
The Torrefazione Caffè Bontadi is an artisan company founded in 1790.
It keeps family traditions and preserves centuries-old secrets, in order to produce one of the best Italian espresso coffee. For the same reason, it imports row coffee beans directly from plantations all over the world. Thanks to the centuries-old experience in the coffee field , the most ancient toasting shop in Italy can still produce the best blends of the best world’s coffees.
You can now visit the new Museo del Caffè – Coffee Museum, with a collection of about 300 pieces, from the end of the 18th century, till the most modern espresso maker. Some of them are important pieces, that made the history of coffee. Last but not least the accessories, essential for the coffee tasting: coffee sets, made of precious porcelain of the 17th century, till the most modern.
Next to the museum, there is the academy, Accademia del Caffè, where the secrets of the coffee preparation and the rules for the preservation of such a precious and delicate good, are revealed

- From Monday to Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
