Millraces and spinning wheels tell the story of the city’s economic development in the 18th century
A guided tour that tells the story of the silk industry in Rovereto. Starting from the themed room at the Museo della Città, we then cross the Forbato bridge to head into the ancient Borgo S. Tomaso, where the Colle Masotti spinning mill opens its doors to reveal the traditions associated with silk production.
Organised by Associazione Guide e Accompagnatori Turistici del Trentino in collaboration with Apt Rovereto, Vallagarina e Monte Baldo.
The itinerary is held in Italian. For groups of at least 18 people, visits can also be organised on dates other than Saturday mornings in Italian, English or German.
