Aspettando il Giro d’Italia Women 2026

On Saturday, 30^th May, a day of celebration awaiting the elite of international women’s cycling

During the day, lots of events will take place where sport, fun and entertainment meet.

To kick things off, the “Mini Giro in rosa” organized by Società Ciclistica Ala: a ride of 14 km (7 km each way) open to everyone wearing a pink piece of clothing. The start is planned at 5pm from San Giovanni Square and the easy track is suitable for families too. At the end of the ride there will be a “pink” snack for everyone at the Avio Bicigrill.

The celebration continues, from 7pm. with “Aspettando il Giro”, an evening event with music & interviews by Radio Ala, food trucks, rosé wine tastings and guests from the sports world.

And it doesn't stop there! All supporters of the Giro d’Italia Women can take part in the “Balconi in Rosa” photo contest. From May 4th to May 24th, 2026, simply send an email to giroadala2026@gmail.com with the subject line “Balconi in Rosa”, attaching a photo of your decorated balcony. Voting will take place from May 25th to June 3rd on the “Comune di Ala” Facebook page. The three photos with the most likes will win exclusive gadgets!
