Concerto per la Pace
Where? Colle Miravalle
When? Friday, August 21st
The Haydn Orchestra performs on the hill of the "Campana dei Caduti" in Rovereto for a concert of profound symbolic value
Iranian conductor Hossein Pishkar leads the Haydn Orchestra in a Concert for Peace against the breathtaking backdrop of the "Campana dei Caduti" on Colle Miravalle.
Joining him on piano is the young and exceptionally talented Yifan Wu, winner of the prestigious 2025 Busoni Piano Competition.
Together, they will bring to life a unique musical journey: from the deep, meditative reflection of Barber's Adagio, a tribute to all the fallen of the world, to the extraordinary power of Shostakovich's Concerto No. 2, composed under Soviet oppression, culminating in the luminous beauty of Brahms' Serenade No. 1.
A concert designed to transcend all borders and invite us to look toward the future together with hope.
