Christmas in Rovereto

Where? City centre, Rovereto

When?

Lights, sounds and words of Peace

At Christmas, the city of Rovereto will give you moments of joy, emotions, sounds and colours linked to the values that characterise the ‘City of Peace’: humanity, brotherhood and solidarity.

During Christmas time, the streets of the city are filled with a magical atmosphere of lights, sounds and words of Peace, conveying the message and identity of Rovereto, ‘City of Peace’, as a place of dialogue and encounter between people.

Via Roma and its Urban Courtyard will host traditional market stalls where you can buy local handicrafts and enjoy a cup of spiced mulled wine as well as traditional dishes and sweets. The whole city centre will become an open-air stage for spectacular installations, art and photography exhibitions, Nativity scenes, shows, themed guided tours and activities for children.

All this against the splendid backdrop of 17th and 18th century palaces, medieval ramparts and museums with a contemporary flavour.
