Monte Baldo Experience

A shuttle bus connects Lake Garda with Monte Baldo and it will take you to the starting point of numerous guided excursions.

For 4 Thursday during the Summer take the “Monte Baldo Express”, the shuttle bus running from Torbole, through Nago, Mori and Brentonico till the main starting points of amazing guided excursions in the Monte Baldo Natural Park.

Rocks, military refuges and flowers

Thursday 6th June

• At 9.00 Start from Torbole (be sure about the time for other stops)
• at 10.00 Start of excursion from “Camping Polsa”
• at 16.00 return at “Baita Laghetto”
• at 17.00 return to Torbole
• Length of time: 6 hours
• Difference in level: 400 metres
• Difficulty: easy excursion, moderate physical exertion and soft practice are required
• Clothing and equipment: comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, raincoat, rucksack, flask and something to eat.

The path develops between meadows and woods from “Polsa” and “Bocca D’Ardole” till you will face Adige Valley through military gallery and hard hairpin bends with massive rocks. On the path, you will discover the history of these places, involved in the fights of the First World War, where the nature repossessed the military ruins. An easy descent with amazing view of “Corno della Paura” will take you to the finish-point at “Camping Polsa”.

Thursday 4th July

• at 17.30 Start from Rifugio Graziani
• at 00.30 return to Rifugio Graziani
• at 01.30 return to Torbole
• Length of time:  7 hours
• Difference in level: 550 metres
• Difficulty: middle, not suitable for children (at least 14 years old to participate). Max: 10 people.
• Clothing and equipment: comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, raincoat, rucksack, flask and something to eat, telescope/binoculars, lights, windbreaker.

Have you ever seen wildlife in its natural habitat? It is almost quite magical. The guide will take you where you could observe wildlife with telescope/binoculars. You will walk on Monte Altissimo of Nago till “Malga Campo”, then there is a hard slope to “Bocca Paltrane” to reach a descent in the wild “Val del Parol”. Chance to have dinner by Rifugio Campei. Return on the panoramic path to “Malga Campo” and then back to Rifugio Graziani.

• Clothing and equipment: comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, raincoat, rucksack, flask and something to eat, telescope/binoculars, lights, windbreaker.

You will walk along the ridge on a beautiful path until Monte Altissimo di Nago, facing Lake Garda on one front and dominating Aviana-Valley on the other. Torrente Sorna Canyon

Thursday 5th September

• at 10.00 Start of the excursion from Cazzano of Brentonico (Square)
• at 16.00 return to Cornè di Brentonico (Square).
• at 16.40 return to Torbole
• Length of time: 5 hours
• Difference in level: 350 metres
• Difficulty: quite difficult. Physical exertion and technical practice are required.
• Clothing and equipment: comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, raincoat, rucksack, flask and something to eat, telescope/binoculars, lights, windbreaker, complete clothing-change, towel, shoes-change.

Do you love adventure? Do you get bored with the typical excursions? That’s why this hike will suit you good! A dive in “Sorna” stream to discover ancient mines, hanging bridges, caves and gorges shaped by water. Return by descent through the vineyards under the village of Cazzano until “Pont del Diaol” then down to coal-mines, walking in the water in “Sorna” stream and then walking up to Cornè.
