Guided excursions to discover new places

Every Sunday, from mid-February to mid-March, wear your snowshoes and discover the less traveled places of Vallagarina. At the end of the itinerary, there will be a tasty snack waiting for you, prepared with typical local products.

Val di Gresta – 14 th of February

A pleasant snowshoe hike to Passo Bordala, at the foot of Mount Stivo, along the picturesque road of the “Fontanelle”, through beech woods asleep in the winter calm. Step by step, you will reach the small church of S. Antonio, where you will admire the splendid view of Val di Gresta and Monte Baldo. Return along the same path.

  • Difference in altitude: 110 m.


Lessinia – 21st of February

A round trip to discover Lessinia huts: Maia, Revoltel, Lavacchione, Campo Retratto and Lavacchietto. Immerse yourself in the dense beech woods and vast meadows that characterize the Lessini Plateau.

  • Total length: 11.3 Km
  • Difference in altitude: 380 m.


Pasubio – 28th of February

A snowshoe hike with a panoramic view of the Adige Valley below. Leave in the direction of the Lancia Refuge and continue along the “Sentiero delle Uhl” (SAT E132) to reach the wide meadows of Pazul. From here, continue on the summit crags of the Pasubio massif, alternating open sections with others immersed in the characteristic pine forests, and then resume the Uhl Trail to return to the starting point of the itinerary.

  • Total length: 6.8 Km
  • Difference in altitude: 575 m.


Monte Baldo Park – 7th of March

A spectacular loop path along the old military road built by the Austro-Hungarian army towards Monte Vignola. Here, having reached the saddle near the monument erected by the Alpini, turn right to reach the top of “Colme di Vignola” area. From this point you will admire the spectacular views that will open in front of your eyes: from the Adige Valley to the Lessini Plateau, from the Brenta Dolomites to the Po Valley.

  • Total length: 5.6 Km
  • Difference in altitude: 270 m.


Monte Zugna – 14th of March

One of the favorite routes of the inhabitants of Vallagarina, the ascent of Monte Zugna along the ancient mule track among the memories of the Great War. A route renowned for its historical interest and for the views that can be enjoyed from its summit over the entire Adige Valley.

  • Meeting point: car park near the Monte Zugna Refuge
  • Length: 3.8 Km
  • Difference in altitude: 221 m.


Vallarsa – 21st of March

A snowshoe hike on the meadows of “Alta Vallarsa“, in front of the Baffelan-Sengio Alto chain and the Small Dolomites. Follow the “Strada delle Sette Fontane”, then the SAT E173 path towards the meadows of Malga Boffetal. Here, in front of you, the majestic Small Dolomites will appear, closely followed by the spiers of the Cornetto-Baffelan-Sengio Alto chain towards the Campogrosso Pass. Return along the same path.

  • Length: 11.2 Km
  • Difference in altitude: 392 m.

Opening time

The activity occurs every Sunday from the 14th of February to the 21st of March 2021, from 10 am to 2 pm:

  • minimum age: 14 years old
  • number of participants: minimum 4, maximum 10 people
  • duration: 4 hours including stops
  • reservation is required by 12 pm on the day before the activity.


Participation costs:

  • Excursion only: € 12 per person
  • Snowshoes rental (optional): € 9 per person
  • A rich snack at the end of the snowshoeing (optional): € 15 per person.

* The routes may vary depending on the environmental conditions and the snowpack. Participants are required to wear trekking clothing suitable for the winter environment: waterproof boots, gloves, hat and sunglasses. The use of trekking poles is also recommended.

In order to guarantee the safety of all guests and operators, we kindly ask you to refrain from participating to the activity in presence of the following risk factors:

  • fever higher than 37.5
  • flu symptoms for yourselves and your cohabitants
  • have been in contact with an infected person in the last 14 days
  • coming from a risk area (declared as such by the competent authorities) in the last 14 days.

By participating to the activity, you implicitly confirm the absence of the risk factors listed above, to bring the protective mask with you and respect the interpersonal distance of at least 1 meter.
