A journey among the seven faces of science at the Rovereto City Museum Foundation
Forget the traditional museum that is just a showcase for artifacts! Here activities and laboratories will encourage you to experiment different fields such as archeology, botany, zoology, earth sciences and astronomy.
Science and Archeology Museum
At the LEGO Education Innovation Studio, the first in Italy, Saturday afternoons are dedicated to workshops for approaching robotics, divided by age groups.
Robotic Lab
For children from 6 to 8 years every first Saturday of the month at 3.00 pm

Astronomical observatory of Monte Zugna
Saturday night’s stars | Astronomical Observatory of Monte Zugna
Meetings to watch the starry night through to the telescopes of the Astronomical Observatory of Monte Zugna. You will be guided by the experts of Rovereto City Museum Foundation to watch the starry night even with your eyes and you will get to know more about astronomy thanks to theorical lessons.
Upcoming appointments: saturday 25th february at 6.00pm and saturday 18th march at 6.30pm.
Activities available upon reservation before 4.00pm of the previous day, participation fee is 6€ per person and 4€ for Museum Pass and Trentino Guest Card owners.
Minimum 10 partecipants, maximum 30.

An afternoon with the experts from Rovereto civic Museum at 1600 meters.

The sky in a room
Astronomical activity to discover the starry night. The planetarium, located in the garden of the Science and Archeology Museum, reproduces a realistic sky, projecting the various celestial objects and their apparent motions. The activity is organised every sunday at 3.00 pm.

Paleontological site of the trail of the dinosaurs
On the trail of the dinosaurs
Not far from Rovereto, in Lavini di Marco, there is one of the most important paleontological sites in Europe which features hundreds of dinosaur footprints of different sizes, in a truly unique landscape setting.

Research area in the city woods
The Research area dedicated to science and learning, with outdoor and indoor areas for archeology research and natural science activities, in the city woods, in a public area of 11.000 square meters near the city center.
Activities with turtles: get to know and feed water and land turtles in the research area in the woods.
The activity is organised during summer and is free upon reservation.
