One day in the vegetable garden

Experience life in the country and prepare your own basket of organic products

A multisensory experience in the open air in Val di Gresta, also known as the “Valley of the vegetable gardens”, to collect organic vegetables from the fields and enjoy them at the farmhouse.

There is an almost unknown place in Trentino, a landscape marked by the rhythm of rural life. Here in the organic vegetable garden of Trentino time goes slowly, you can walk in the open air, taste genuine food and play with animals while respecting nature. Here you can meet modern farmers, who took a precise life choice: working like in the past, plowing fields with horse pulled plow.

Let’s start the day with a little healthy activity in the fields of Val di Gresta. You will harvest the vegetables to prepare your own “biocesta“:6 kg of freshly harvested organic vegetables, that you can bring home in memory of a wonderful day spent among the characteristic terrace fields of this valley.

When hungry, have a snack with organic marmelade and fruit juices, produced by local farms. Then, let’s have lunch in a farmhouse where you will learn how to recognize the harvested vegetables, activating all the five senses.
