Distilling and stilling are two terms well known to the populations of the Trentino valleys. Here in fact there is a centuries-old tradition and an oral literature full of stories and anecdotes related to the history of grappa production. A story of a thousand, important nuances.
Its very name indicates that precious part of the grape which, after having been carefully processed, can give another, precious product. Single-variety grappas, obtained from pomace of a usual grape quality, such as Grappa al Marzemino and Moscato, or grappas flavored by infusion such as Grappa alla Ruta, Ortica, and Hay. A distillation that takes place through the traditional “bain-marie” system in discontinuous alembic, typical of the Trentino culture, to give a particular softness and an elegant fragrance.
Hydroalcoholic extracts, based on herbs and roots from Trentino, expertly blended in a pleasant and appealing product. Allow one or more sips of wellness to be given. Famous in Val di Gresta the Amaro dei Fazzilisti, excellent at the end of a meal, where the flavors meet the aromas of lemoncina, gentian, burdock, cinnamon, absinthe and cloves.
