Craft beer, which in recent years is becoming the protagonist in Trentino, is produced from basic ingredients, and becomes an opportunity to experiment and play with flavors and colors, especially in an area that is well suited to the cultivation of barley and hops.
It is no coincidence that the latter is part of the Trentino culinary tradition, which mainly uses its sprouts.
In Vallagarina a new generation of special beers is born, started from the contamination between brewing techniques and winemaking techniques. Fermented beers and aged in barrels with grapes or grape must, or sparkling with the classic method directly in the bottle. Irreverent, unsettling, and sometimes extreme, they are free beers that like to grow old in barriques, which wink at the sour and do not mind being reminded of natural wines.
