Azienda Agricola Balter

Production and sale of wine and sparkling Trentodoc wine

On the hill above Rovereto city, rises a 16th Century manor surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyard kissed by the sun. Here the wines of Balter family are produced

After a long carrier producing grapes, in 1990 Balter winery started with the vinification, in an evocative location of a manor house with a tower, made during the Renaissance, nowadays the symbol of the farm. In the 10 hectares of the vineyards that enclose the winery, Nicola Balter and his sons are very devoted to the grapes who will become the sparkling wine Trentodoc and Barbanico, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein-Merlot and Sauvignon.

The winery is situated on the top of a little hill above the city of Rovereto and has an underground wine cellar, in order to favor the view of the farmland and the structure.

The connection with the territory is the most important thing that the winery wants to transmit to the people who come to the Balter farm. Even though the farm is recent, it is now renowned for the high quality of its wines.

Barefoot aperitif

A special aperitif in the breathtaking garden of Balter manor. The activity starts with a guided tour through the vineyards, where the members of the family will passionately tell you how they continue to produce their wines since 1990.

At the end of the itinerary, throw aways your shoes and feel the warmth of the wood, the roughness of the stone and the softness of the grass under your feet. To enhance this relaxation moment, you can enjoy an aperitif with a glass of excellent wine and taste some local sliced meat and cheese.
