When a land with an exceptional vocation for viticulture meets a passion for cultivating it, something truly special happens. The result? Wines with a strong sense of place, preserving the aromas and flavours of tradition.
Our Story
Azienda Agricola Mattè was founded in 2019 by brothers Bruno and Michele, who chose to continue the family’s winemaking tradition begun by their great-grandfather Mario back in 1946 with the Dieci Torri winery.
The name Dieci Torri (“Ten Towers”) comes from a Roman castrum known as Decem Turres, which was destroyed during the Lombard invasion in AD 576. This fortress once stood on the very site where the winery is located today. In honour of this centuries-old history and in memory of our great-grandfather, we have dedicated one of our wine collections to it.
Our Philosophy
We work in harmony with local winemaking traditions, allowing our wines to express the unique character of this remarkable land. We keep mechanisation to a minimum, favouring manual work in the vineyard while respecting both the environment and the land.
