In the second half of the nineteenth century during the modernization process of viticulture, the first vines of French origin began to be introduced in Trentino, such as Cabernet and Merlot that found a suitable territory to grow in Vallagarina.
Bordeaux Wine were “recommended” for the production of “fine bottle wines” and, therefore, there were the first bordolesi cuts at the beginning of the Sixties. Some example of these cuts are the Fojaneghe of Bossi Fedrigotti and the Castel San Michele of the Agricoltural Institute of San Michele – pioneers of an incredible experiment that create a lot of satisfaction and emotions.
They are wines with intense colors and refined bouquets, structured and elegant wines, with long and persuasive endings.
