The museum exhibits significant <strong>archeological finds<\/strong> unearthed in the area. In particular, observe the <strong>Roman military milestones<\/strong> which marked the way of the ancient travelers, and the two <strong>funeral inscriptions<\/strong> dating back to around the first half of the 1st century AD.<\/p>\n<p>The finds testify to the ancient origins of <a title=\"Avio, City of Wine\" href=\"http:\/\/www.visitrovereto.it\/en\/discover\/territory\/vallagarina-amid-wines-and-castles\/avio-city-of-wine\/\">Avio<\/a>. In the <strong>Town Antiquarium<\/strong> you will find rare testimonies of a <strong>Roman settlement<\/strong> and of the passage of Via Claudia Augusta Padana, one of the most important connecting roads between the <strong>Roman Empire<\/strong> and the <strong>dominions of Northern Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will also be able to admire a <strong>bronze sword<\/strong> dating back over 3300 years and found by chance in 2021 by a Veronese hiker on the ridge of Monte Baldo, probably used as a propitiatory offering to the river deity or as part of a funeral ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Discover
