Letrari winery
Where wine is family and the cellar is home
Since 1647, emotions passed down through generations; let yourself be guided by those who have lived wine for generations, in the heart of Vallagarina.
Letrari is a reality deeply rooted in Vallagarina, where the passion for wine has been handed down from generation to generation. Today, the winery opens its doors to those who wish to enjoy an authentic experience, made of fine wines, warm hospitality, and family stories.
Each visit is designed to help you discover the world of Letrari in a personal and curated way, with guided tasting experiences led directly by Lucia, owner and oenologist, or by Margherita, representative of the third generation, ensuring direct contact with those who live and breathe the winery every day with dedication.
Our story begins in 1647, but it is thanks to Leonello Letrari that it becomes a true wine-producing reality. It is indeed his merit that, in the immediate post-war period, wines from the Dolomites gained character and prestige beyond regional borders. It was also him who, in the 1960s, began crafting high-quality sparkling wines, eventually founding the current family business in 1976.
The winery works exclusively with estate-grown grapes and oversees every stage of the production process, from vineyard to bottle, with an artisanal and family-oriented approach.
In the evocative setting of Vallagarina, thanks to its unique terroir and the Mediterranean microclimate influenced by the Adige River and the Ora wind from nearby Lake Garda, both still wines with strong varietal typicity and elegant, refined Trentodoc sparkling wines are produced, expressing the region’s strong vocation.
The area’s mild climate also allows for a limited and carefully selected production of extra virgin olive oil with an exceptional fruity character.
Whether you are local or visiting from other regions, at Letrari you will find genuine hospitality and an experience that speaks from the heart of those who live and love this land every day.
