Discovering the Garden of Italy between excursions and tasting
Let yourself be amazed by the magnificent spectacle of blooms on Monte Baldo in spring! We will explore the area of the Local Natural Park of Monte Baldo, known by European botanists for its extraordinary biodiversity. We will have an excursion guided by an expert botanist from the Civic Museum of Rovereto and taste the spring products of Malga Mortigola, which will be our comfortable “base camp”.
- Meeting point: Saturday 6 June, 9.00 a.m. Malga Mortigola
- Included: half board treatment, excursion with the botanist, tasting of products of the alpine pasture, organization
- Not included: drinks, tourist tax
- With whom: Giulia Tomasi, graduated in Science and Technology for the Environment and Territory at the University of Padua, works at the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto where she deals with floristics and vegetation by carrying out research, monitoring and studies on wild plants in the province of Trento and Verona. At the Museo Civico she also deals with the cataloguing of herbarium samples and botanical photographic archives, as well as with didactics and scientific divulgation. Coauthor of scientific publications and books on nature, she has also held botanical conferences at international level and various training courses. She is a mountain guide.
- What to wear: don’t forget shoes and clothing suitable for a spring hike in the mountains!
In case of bad weather: in case of severe bad weather announced the experience will be cancelled and offered again on another date or refunded.
