“Cantina Sociale di Ala” winery

Since 1959, the winery has been producing unique and elegant wines that tell a story as authentic as the land where they are born.

The winery represents an important cooperative reality in Trentino in which the 300 members of the company cultivate over 500 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Vallagarina on a hilly terrain protected by the mountains and influenced by the breezes originating from the proximity of Lake Garda, operating while respecting the environment with sustainable processing techniques and integrated production systems, to guarantee products that are as natural as possible.

Over the years, the winery has undergone considerable changes following the investments made to adapt the structure to new commercial needs. Currently mainly white berried varieties are processed such as Pinot gris, Chardonnay, Pinot blanc and Müller Thurgau, while the rest is made up of fine reds such as Marzemino, Lagrein and Merlot.

Since 1995, the Cantina Sociale di Ala and the Mezzacorona Group have been working together to promote Trentino’s wines.
