Dairyman for a day

An experiential path to get to know and savour mountain life.

Take part in the milking activity and listen to tales of daily life on a mountain farm. Immediately afterwards, all the secrets of milk processing will be revealed through an open-air demonstration. At the end of the activity, enjoy a delicious brunch or a sweet and savoury break prepared with genuine zero-kilometre products in the shadow of the picturesque mountains that frame the malga.

Saturday 22 June

We will meet at Malga Borcola at 9.30 a.m. to watch milk being processed into cheese and ricotta, followed by a visit to the malga, and conclude with a mouth-watering sweet and savoury brunch with malga products.

Saturday 20 July

We will meet at Malga Borcola at 5 p.m. to watch the milking, which will be followed by a visit to the malga and will end with an excellent afternoon snack with malga products as the sun goes down.

Those taking part will receive a free gift from the malga!

Cost of the experience:

  • €15 per person and includes salami and cheese, 2 slices of cake, a hot drink or juice and a gift of the malga.
