Where? Polsa di Brentonico
When?
When winter makes room for spring, the charm of the night meets the flavours of the mountain
An on-foot itinerary through the woods and the meadows of Polsa, on the Brentonico plateau, on the Trentino’s side of Monte Baldo, with a tasty dinner, accompanied by music to end the night.
Itinierary (may vary depending on weather and terrain conditions)
- length: 6 km
- duration: 2 h (not including stops)
- ascent: 233 m / descent: 272 m
- please note: the excursion will be carried out on foot, snowshoes or crampons, according to the conditions of the snowpack. (guests will be informed in the days preceding the activity)

“Golosaneve” is an unmissable event, fit for foodies who also happen to love the snow! An excursion to discover the beautiful scenery of the “Parco Naturale Locale del Monte Baldo”, at dusk.
However, from great walks comes a great appetite! Start the excursion with a tasty aperitif at “Ristorante Etrusca” and conclude it with a tasty stop to gather your energy, and taste the authentic flavours of the mountain, accompanied by live-music and the cozy warmth of the braciers.
Menu:
- Trentino-style “polenta concia” (enriched with cheese and butter) with “lucanica” (think pork sausage), and cheese
- Marinated cabbage, with fennel
- Local red wine / alcohol free beverage

The event is carried out in cooperation with the tourism council of Brentonico, the enogastronomic facilities present along the way of the excursion, and the network of associations, and volunteers of the Brentonico plateau.

Opening time
Meeting point for accreditation at 4.45pm near the hut at the “Polsa Ski School Camp”.
Departure at 5pm, accompanied by “Golosaneve” guides
Entrance
Participation fee:
Fee: € 22 adults, € 16 children aged 5 up to 12 years old.
Booking availability ends at 12 noon on the 21st of March, 2025.
Enrollment is possible on site, but reservation is not guaranteed as it is valid while places are available (maximum 130 enrolled).
WARNING!
Hikes in a mountain environment require suitable warm clothing, a dry change of clothes, should it be necessary, waterproof boots, gloves, and a cap with a torch or headlamp to light the path.
Snowshoes or crampons (if required) can be hired autonomously at the Polsa or San Valentino rental shop.
Rental is not included in the price of the event.
Minimum recommended age: 5 years of age – each participant agrees to be responsible for themselves and any dependent minors during the entire duration of the event.
Children under 5 years of age or unable to cope with the physical exertion on their own (i.e. transported with the aid of a backpack carrying children) are still welcome, but will be exempted from participating in the dinner.
Dogs are allowed so long as they are kept on a leash for the whole duration of the event.
In case of bad weather the experience will be postponed to saturday 29th of March.
